HELENA–Signs have been put in place for the American Ranch House and the restaurant located at 4257 Shelby County 52 in Helena is scheduled to open sometime in mid to late February, according to restaurant management.
With the closing of Frankie’s Market Café last year, many Helena residents wondered what might occupy the space.
That question has been answered and residents will have another lunch and dinner option in a family style setting that will feature meat ‘n’ three items, as well as American and Mediterranean food.
Helena will be the restaurant’s fourth location as the American Ranch House has locations in Vestavia, Tarrant and Five Points South.
Cornelius Frazier will be the general manager of the Helena location and believes the location will benefit the restaurant.
“I’ve heard a lot of good things about Helena and I think this is a great location,” said Frazier. “We want to thank Helena Mayor Mark Hall and the city council for everything they’ve done to help. Our goal is to become a part of the community.”
Construction is currently taking place to transform the restaurant from a former market and café to a family style restaurant.
After opening in February, the American Ranch House hours will be Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Some of the other American Ranch House locations are open for breakfast as well and Frazier said there is a possibility the Helena location will begin offering breakfast sometime down the road.
