PELHAM— For the first time in 24 years, Jimmy Buffett is performing in Pelham at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre April 19. Buffett will be kicking off the venue’s 30th anniversary concert season.
Journey, The Doobie Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Heart with Joan Jett, The Blackhearts and Cheap Trick are also part of the 30th anniversary season, according to Ticketmaster.com.
Buffett is best known for his music portraying an island lifestyle and humorous personal experiences. Hits include, “Margaritaville,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and “Brown-eyed Girl.”
The concert will start at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19. Tickets go on sale Jan. 22 at 10 a.m.
