HELENA–The Helena High School Shelby County Student Leadership team will be hosting a Children’s Hospital Donation Drive for the majority of March, with numerous drop off locations at schools in the Helena area.

Between March 1-25, the HHS Shelby County Student Leadership team is encouraging members of the community to participate in the drive to help families who find themselves in Children’s Hospital unexpectedly or long-term.

Accepted donation items include non-perishable individually packed snacks, microwaveable meals with pop-tops including soup, macaroni and cheese, grits, oatmeal, Chef Boyardee, Pop Tarts and more. Trial size toiletries and toothbrushes, new toys including crayons, markers, coloring books, Play-Doh, books and new children’s socks/underwear.

The drop off locations are located at the Helena Elementary, Helena Intermediate, Helena Middle and Helena High School main offices, the HHS lunchroom stage, Mrs. Parker’s room located in room A100 at HHS and the HHS library.
