HELENA–The city of Helena has acquired another new business in the area and residents can ensure that their financial future and retirement plans are in good hands with the opening of an Edward Jones office in Helena.

The new office, located at 100 Brook Drive Suite E, recently had a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony and Edward Jones Financial Advisor Adam Windsor is ready to get started and serve the Helena community.

“What I do is I help folks plan for retirement and any financial need they may have,” said Windsor. “I think everyone’s situation is different. People have different goals and things that happen to them in life. A lot of client’s I’ve meet face to face and door to door and taken a personal approach. A lot of people hide behind the phone and I’ve gotten out in Alabaster and Helena to get to know people face to face and a big part of how I got started was meeting them at their homes. I try to find a tailored solution to achieve their long term financial goals.”

Windsor is now in his third year with Edward Jones and previously worked in Tuscaloosa at the Tourism and Sports Commission doing work in the finance department.

Windsor brings the Edward Jones business to Helena after previously being located in Alabaster and believes the Helena area has plenty of potential.

“Helena is a thriving community and really growing,” said Windsor. “There’s a great mix of people from all ages. Helena fits with my approach with being personal and meeting face to face. People of Helena really respect that. They’ve appreciated the hard work it takes and that I’m going to work for them. I think Helena is heading for something big here and will be a massive community one day.”

Windsor said he works with clients on retirement planning including 401K and IRA.
