HELENA–Helena’s annual Movies in the Park program will return this summer beginning Friday, June 3, but before the return, the program wants to hear feedback from the Helena community to determine which movies to show on Friday nights throughout the summer.

Last year, the Helena Amphitheater played host to eight family-friendly movies throughout the summer for Movies in the Park and this year, the program is letting the community have a say in which movies that will play on the big screen.

The program currently has an online survey consisting of 15 movies up for consideration.

The program is asking residents to pick their top eight choices by ranking them 1-8 and the top eight movies receiving the most votes will be chosen.

The movies up for consideration are “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” “Big Hero 6,” “The Boxtrolls,” “Despicable Me 2,” “The Good Dinosaur,” “Goosebumps,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Hotel Transylvania 2,” “ Inside Out,” “Minions,” “Norm of the North,” “Paddington,” “Pan,” “Planes: Fire and Rescue” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

The voting is open now through May 13 and those who fill out their contact information, along with voting will have a chance to win up to $20 in free food at one of the events this summer.

A total of eight participants will be chosen to win free food from the snack bar for a family of four.
