ALABASTER – Alabaster students looking to hone skills ranging from cheerleading to computer coding and arts will have plenty of chances to do so this summer, as the city’s school system is launching several “Champion camps” in June.
The Alabaster City Schools Community Education department recently organized multiple summer camps at school campuses throughout the city, and currently is seeking registration information from those interested in participating.
Each camp will be taught by an ACS teacher, and will be open to certain age groups. Prices for each camp will vary depending on the supplies necessary for each session, according to the Community Education department.
“Limited spaces are available, and camps must have a sufficient number to open,” read a Community Education release.
The camps are open to students in Alabaster and surrounding school systems, and parents are responsible for transporting students to and from the camps.
