Roy Earl Peck, age 90, of Shelby, his spirit went free and went to be with God Tuesday, May 3.

Roy was predeceased by his wife, Irene Peck; parents, James R. (Jr.) and Marie Peck; grandparents that raised him, James William and Mary Elizabeth Peck; brothers, James Peck, Sr., and Daris Peck; sister, Margaret Peck; and step-brother, James Peck.

His survivors include his daughter, June Morris (John C.); grandchildren, Tabitha Ricks, Kelsey Revis (Chris), Penny Kemp, Kevin Morris (Karen), Phillip Morris (Charity) and James Morris (Jamie); great grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Kylie and Karley Revis, Adam and Jacklyn Jones and Kaddy Kemp; nieces, Dale Painter and Laurie Reager; and great nephews, Tyler, Trevor and Thomas.

The family will receive friends, 5-6 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 at Charter Funeral Home with a funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 5 at the funeral home. Reverend Michael Morris will officiate the services.
