James E. Hughes, age 83, of Montevallo, died Wednesday, May 4.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 7 at Bolton Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Trawick officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Saturday, May 7 at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his son, Dwayne Kinsey (Charlotte); grandchild, Jessica Buriss (Jason): sisters, Clara Patterson (John), and Charsie Headley (Jerry); brother, Johnny Jay Hughes (Faye); four nieces; three nephews; and numerous other family and friends.
