Funeral service for Rev. Charles R. Shaw, age 75, was Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m. at Davis Chapel Church. Interment was at Pleasant Site Cemetery. The family received friends on Saturday, May 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Rev. Shaw passed away Friday, May 13. He was born June 15, 1940. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be greatly missed. He was the pastor of Davis Chapel Baptist Church. He was retired from Acipco Pipe.

He is survived by his wife, Melba Shaw; sons, Shawn Chris Shaw and Stephen (Janet) Shaw; five grandchildren, Emilee Phillips, Mallory Shaw, Stephen Shaw, Hannah Shaw, and Keilee Shaw; and sister, Pat Schrader.
