Katherine Haggard Hutto, age 76, of Wilsonville, passed on Saturday, May 21 at home surrounded by those she loved.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 24 at Pinelawn Gardens with Brother Ken Mobley officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 23 at the funeral home. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Kitty was born July 20, 1939 in Walker County, where she was raised by her grandparents, but grew up with her children. She was a gentle, loving wife, mother, grandmother great-grandmother, and a caring friend to many. She was also member of the Calera Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mrs. Hutto is preceded in death by her youngest son, Jeffrey Hutto.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jerry Leon Hutto; daughter, Darlene Horton (Erwin); sons, Jerry David Hutto, Rodger Hutto (Tracy), and Anthony Hutto (Wanda); seven grandchildren, Stacey Franklin (Jarrod), Melissa Armstrong, Millicent Bearden (Randy), Jeremy Hutto, Joe Lee Hutto, Katie Ferguson (Philip), and Hollie Whitner; seven great grandchildren, Madison, Alex, and Emma Franklin, Matthew and Lucas Bearden, Brooklyn and Alyssa Ferguson; godson, Ronald Hardin (Vickie); sister, Lillie Mae Skelton; brother, A.B. Haggard; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
