Billy R. Smith, age 72, of Columbiana, died Thursday, May 26.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 29, at Summerhill Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Green and Rev. Neal Bearden officiating. Burial will follow in Summerhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, May 28, at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was a deacon at Summerhill Baptist Church and a member of  the Columbiana Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen Smith; daughters, Donna Gannon (Mike), Shelia McGill (Dale) and Jeannie Smith; sons, Johnny Clements (Akashya) and Billy Smith (Malena); 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and numerous other nieces, nephews and many foster children.
