HELENA–A new store that focuses on offering custom products like wreaths, children and women’s clothing and more recently opened in Helena’s Old Town district.

Frederick’s Creation, LLC, opened its second location in Helena after previously having a business in Hoover, and owner Frederick McCray said Helena is where they wanted to open a second store because of the family-based community that Helena offers. McCray custom makes all the products and is ready to provide clients with her one-of-a-kind items.

“We’re all about handmade products,” said McCray. “Everything that’s here is custom made and something you can’t find at the store. If you’re looking for that custom wreath, custom children’s clothing, women’s clothing, custom wigs and jewelry, we have it.”

In addition to the custom products, Frederick’s Creation also offers wreath parties and art classes for children ages 3-12 as well as arts and crafts classes for everyone.

When asked what was her favorite thing about owning Frederick’s, McCray said it was offering items not available at other stores.

“Just doing something different and unique for clients that you can’t buy at the store is my favorite thing,” said McCray. “You can’t go in the store and get that custom thing. You can only get generic things from the store and to be able to bring that piece to life that they’re looking for makes me really excited.”

Frederick’s Creation, LLC, is located at 3993 Helena Road and the store hours are Tuesday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
