HELENA–The Helena High School track and field program is currently taking registration for a youth summer camp, as well as a family fun track meet that will take place on the final day.

The youth summer camp is open to children in grades K-8 and takes place June 23-24 from 9-11 a.m. at the HHS Football Stadium.

The cost of the camp is $30 per camper and includes a T-shirt and free entry into the family fun track meet on June 25. All proceeds from the camp and track meet will fund the HHS track and field program.

For those only interested in the family fun track meet can register for $5 to compete in an individual event or $10 for a relay event. The track meet is open to all ages and begins at 9 a.m. on June 25 at the HHS Football Stadium.

The events runners may participate in includes the 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter and 1600-meter individual races as well as a 4×100 meter relay or a 4×400 meter relay.

Runners will be grouped in categories based on age and gender and winners of each event will receive an award.
