Freda Harper Doriety, of Montevallo, passed away Friday, June 17, at her home.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bessie Harper, and husband, Thurston Doriety.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Doriety (Debbie), Craig Doriety (Melinda), and Shereen McGiboney (Terry); grandchildren, Joy, Brent (Candace), Devin, Tyler, Terry Jr., and Christina; and great-grandchildren, Elliott, Hadassah, Caris, Terry James, Raegyn, and Rylen.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) from 6-8 p.m. Her services will be held Wednesday, June 22, at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) at 10 a.m. Committal Service will follow at Alabama National Cemetery at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
