NORTH SHELBY – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating two suspects involved in a June 30 burglary on Emerald Circle near Cahaba Valley Road in northern Shelby County.

The owners of the home, which is located in the 1000 block of Emerald Circle, allegedly discovered the suspects, described as “two unknown men,” in their house at about 4:30 a.m. June 30.

One of the suspects was wearing a mask and possibly armed with a gun, according to a Shelby County Sheriff’s Office press release.

The suspects fled in the homeowners’ white 2012 Ford F-150 King Cab pickup truck displaying Alabama license plate No. 7242AD9.

The vehicle has been registered nationally as a stolen vehicle, and the suspects remain at large.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

Second-degree burglary is a Class B felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison upon conviction.
