Dale Winfrey, age 48, of Pelham, had his home coming celebration Sunday, July 31.

He was predeceased by his father, George Winfrey.

Dale was a licensed minister who loved his girls and loved to sing.

His survivors include his daughters, Kendra Winfrey and Katie Winfrey; mother, Velma Winfrey Puckett (Chester); sister, Teresa Lynne Taylor (Chris); brother, Danny Winfrey (Joyce) and Davey Winfrey (Lucretta); his puppy dog, Dot Winfrey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from noon – 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 2 with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., both at Charter Funeral Home.
