July 13

•Property damage (non-criminal) from the 5300 Block of Hwy. 280, Birmingham. A 2007 Chevrolet Colorado was damaged/destroyed.

•Miscellaneous information from Hwy. 70, Columbiana.

•Domestic investigation from the 900 Block of Hebb Road, Wilsonville.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 0 Block of Morris Estates Drive, Wilsonville.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 1100 Block of Altadena Rise, Birmingham.

•DUI any substance from the 4600 Block of Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous information from an unknown location.

•Identity theft from Dorough Road, Columbiana.

•Public intoxication and felony unlawful possession of controlled substance from Hwy. 47 at Hwy. 42, Shelby. A white crystal substance (methamphetamine) was confiscated.

•Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 6900 Block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

•Sexual abuse from Dusty Way, Harpersville.

•Domestic violence-harassment from the 3600 Block of Hwy. 55, Wilsonville.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 400 Block of Kinnebrew Drive, Chelsea.

•Theft of property from the 2000 Block of Regency Way, Birmingham. A Ruger LCP .380 pistol, valued at $400, was stolen.

•Theft of property from the 200 Block of Barker Drive, Chelsea. An engagement/wedding ring with an unknown value was stolen.

•Sexual abuse from the 1000 Block of Triple G Drive, Alabaster.

•Identity theft from the 700 Block of Narrows Point Circle, Birmingham. Two credit cards, one with a value of $1,391.46, were stolen.

 

July 14

•Felony burglary and theft of property fourth degree from the 8000 Block of Hwy. 47, Lot 7, Shelby. Glass was busted out of the back door to the residence, and prescription medications were stolen.

•Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 100 Block of Pioneer Avenue, Montevallo. An empty syringe was confiscated.

•Death investigation from the 100 Block of Walden Road, Columbiana.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 3000 Block of Riverwood Terrace, Birmingham.

•Allowing dogs to run at large and harassment from the 2700 Block of Hwy. 25, Montevallo.

•Suicide attempt from the 100 Block of Southern Lane, Helena.

•Recovered vehicle from McDow Road, Columbiana.

•Domestic investigation from the 2500 Block of Hwy. 37, Columbiana.

•Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 100 Block of Thompson Drive, Chelsea. Miscellaneous drug paraphernalia including a needle, wire, brillo, razor and cotton was confiscated.

•Theft of property from the 0 Block of Market Lane, Columbiana. A Good man central air conditioning unit valued at $2,000 was stolen.

•Domestic investigation from the 500 Block of Meadow Ridge Circle.

•Criminal mischief from the 5400 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Birmingham. A driver’s and passenger’s door on a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta was damaged/destroyed.

•Criminal mischief from the 5400 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Birmingham. A trunk and left rear tail light on a 2008 Honda Civic two-door was damaged/destroyed.

•Public intoxication from the 4600 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

•Felony theft of property from the 1800 Block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham. A 2007 Honda VFR Interceptor valued at $8,000 was stolen.

•Felony burglary and felony theft of property from the 0 Block of Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham. A Toshiba laptop valued at $2,000, phone charger valued at $20 and facial creams valued at $20 were stolen.

•Felony theft of property from the 400 Block of Olmsted Street, Birmingham. $58,000 was stolen.

 

July 15

•Domestic investigation from the 0 Block of Green Lane, Shelby.

•Death investigation from Cherokee Beach Campground, Helena.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 42, Shelby.

•Burglary from the 5000 Block of Surrey Lane, Birmingham.

•Domestic investigation from the 300 Block of Chesson Loop Circle, Chelsea.

•Civil dispute from the 5500 Block of Hwy. 51, Wilsonville.

•Theft of property fourth degree from the 1000 Block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham. $420 was stolen.

•Leaving the scene of an accident from Chic-fil-A, U.S. Hwy. 280, Birmingham. There was damage to the victim’s vehicle.

•Theft of property from the 2200 Block of Creswell Road, Harpersville. A 300-gallon propane tank, valued at $200, was stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 1500 Block of Clay Pit Road, Montevallo.

•Felony theft of property and felony fraudulent use of a credit card from the 2100 Block of Hwy. 35, Pelham.

•Felony burglary from the 5300 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280. A Beach Cruiser bicycle valued at $225 and Americoil foam mattress valued at $500 were stolen.

•Fraudulent use of a debit/credit card from the 200 Block of Shore Front Lane, Wilsonville. $1,600 was stolen.

•Felony burglary in the third degree and theft of property in the third degree from the 100 Block of E. Moonlight Bay, Shelby. A flatscreen smart TV valued at $200 was stolen.

•Felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana from County Road 45 and Old Deer Creek Road, Vandiver. Methamphetamine, marijuana, Suboxone and green case were confiscated.

•Domestic violence-harassing communications from McDow Road, Columbiana.

 

July 16

•Property damage from the 1900 Block of Hwy. 70, Columbiana. A maroon and black 2011 Harley Davidson XL883L motorcycle was damaged/destroyed.

•Death investigation from the 2300 Block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham.

•Unauthorized use of vehicle from the 1300 Block of Weatherby Cove, Birmingham.

•Death investigation from the 500 Block of Rose Road, Vincent.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 2400 Block of Forest Lakes Lane, Sterrett.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 16600 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Chelsea. A man’s style leather wallet containing various insurance and banking cards and Alabama driver’s license was recovered.

•Domestic investigation from the 2300 Block of Arbor Glenn, Hoover.

•Felony theft of property from Hwy. 253, Pea Ridge. 48 pounds of ground rods, space heater, gas pump, pins for tractor, metal posts and axle inserts, valued at a total of about $2,800, were stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 0 Block of Silver Lane, Alabaster.

 

July 17

•Driving under the influence from the 1000 Block of Highway 43.

•Criminal mischief from the 2600 Block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham. A wall and mount for an automatic door closure unit with an unknown value was damaged/destroyed.

•Property damage from the 17000 Block of Hwy. 25, Columbiana. A push bumper with an unknown value was damaged/destroyed.

•Domestic investigation from the 500 Block of Hwy. 308, Shelby.

•Domestic investigation from the 3700 Block of Hwy. 47, Shelby.

•Theft of property fourth degree from the 5800 Block of Hwy. 61, Wilsonville. A brown wallet with a fish or a deer logo on it, Social Security card, Medicaid card and Medicare card were stolen.

•Domestic investigation from the 900 Block of Barristers Court, Birmingham.

•DUI from the 53000 Block of Hwy. 25, Vandiver.

•Miscellaneous information from the 200 Block of Shelby Forest Circle, Chelsea.

•Theft of property fourth degree from the 500 Block of Hwy. 31, Saginaw. A license plate was stolen.

•Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of Pin Oak Drive, Chelsea.

•Hospice death from the 500 Block of Hwy. 1, Helena.

•Fire investigation from the 5000 Block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.

•Theft of property from Morris Estates, Wilsonville. A Smart Parts paintball gun valued at $300, Spyder paintball gun valued at $200, Nerf rocket launcher valued at $50, various paintball masks valued at $50 and CO2 tanks valued at $10 were stolen.

•Domestic violence-menacing from the 100 Block of Evergreen Road, Shelby. A Topper Jr. 20GA shotgun was recovered.

•Domestic violence assault from Victory Lane, Sterrett.

•Leaving the scene of an accident and DUI alcohol from Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham.

July 18

•Theft of property from Huntwood Road, Shelby. Earrings, two necklaces and a debit card valued at a total of $180 were stolen.

•Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of Rocking Chair Lane, Wilsonville.

•Harassing communications from the 1000 Block of Eagle Hollow Drive, Birmingham.

•Identity theft from Pickens Drive, Westover.

•Domestic violence-harassing communications and computer tampering from the 300 Block of Forest Lakes Drive, Sterrett.

•Felony theft of property first degree from the 1000 Block of Inverness Cliffs, Birmingham. A 2014 Volkswagen Jetta valued at $1 was stolen.

•Felony theft of property from Peacock Drive, Alabaster. Three handguns, rifle and shotgun were stolen.

•Felony theft of property from the 33700 Block of Hwy. 25, Wilsonville. A Glock G43 9mm pistol was stolen.

 

July 19

•Rape from the 100 Block of Rocking Chair Road, Wilsonville.

•Criminal mischief and harassment from the 2800 Block of Downing Circle, Birmingham. A dining room window and a window by front door were damaged/destroyed.

•Burglary and theft of property from the 2000 Block of Hampton Place, Birmingham. A 2013 Infiniti JX35 valued at $30,000 was stolen.

•Domestic investigation from the 0 Block of Ruby Drive Lot 3B, Columbiana.

•Property damage from Hwy. 28 and Hwy. 61, Columbiana. A phone pole and phone lines were damaged/destroyed.

•Property damage from Hwy. 28 and Hwy. 61 Columbiana. A 2009 Waba Vans trailer was damaged/destroyed.

•Domestic violence-assault from Rocking Chair Road, Wilsonville.

•Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle and theft of property from the 3000 Block of N. Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham. A bag containing multiple $100 bills was stolen.

•Theft of property first degree from the 100 Block of Hwy. 471, Sterrett. A fake check from Ross Furniture Logistics Inc. and a UPS envelope sent by the suspect were confiscated.

•Theft of property-shoplifting from the 16000 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Chelsea. A flat screen TV valued at $548 was stolen.

•Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 2400 Block of Forest Lakes Lane, Sterrett.

•Felony theft of property-shoplifting from the 16000 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Chelsea. Flatscreen TVs, surveillance video camera packs and desktop computers valued at about $7,000 was stolen.

 

July 20

•Domestic violence (criminal mischief) from the 2500 Block of Chuchura Road, Birmingham.

•SORNA violation-adult sex offender-registration with local law enforcement from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana.

•Violation of a protection order and domestic violence harassing communications from the 0 Block of Stillwood Lane, Vandiver.

•Theft of property from the 100 Block of Peaceful Valley Road, Columbiana. Guns and ammunition valued at about $2,800 were stolen.

•Theft of property from Hwy. 478, Dunnavant. $1,500 in the form of two cashed checks was stolen.

•Theft from the 7800 Block of Hwy. 47, Shelby. A fiberglass boat, boat trailer, extension ladder, sledge hammer, tool box full of drill bits and various other tools valued at a total of $3,000 was stolen.

•Death investigation from the 100 Block of Reach Way, Birmingham.

•Harassment from Chesser Plantation Lane at Applebee’s, Chelsea.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 400 Block of Kinnebrew Drive, Chelsea.

•Felony theft of property from Walmart off Hwy. 280, Chelsea. Honey Maid, AM grinder, telephone, Gatorade, water hose and other items valued at a total of about $100, was stolen.

•Death investigation from the 2000 Block of Hwy. 331, Columbiana.

•Miscellaneous incident from Oak Mountain Lodge Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

•Domestic violence-assault from the 6000 Block of Hwy. 47, Shelby.

•Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years from the 10000 Block of Retreat Circle, Birmingham.

•Felony theft of property from the 12000 Block of Old Hwy. 280, Chelsea. A cargo trailer and assorted wood valued at a total of $5,000 was stolen.

•Felony theft of property and unauthorized use of vehicle from the 0 Block of Carlson Road, Wilsonville. A 9mm Glock handgun and 2015 Kia Sorento valued at a total of $20,400 were stolen.

•Domestic violence from the 0 Block of August Road, Columbiana.

•Missing person (juvenile runaway) from the 100 Block of Hwy. 478, Leeds.

•Theft of lost property fourth degree from Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham at Oak Mountain Intermediate School. A cell phone valued at $120 was stolen.

•Lost property from an unknown location.

•Property damage from County Road 13 and River Road, Helena. A Honda Civic was damaged/destroyed.
