Vergil “Radio” Arnold Runyan, age 67, of Shelby, passed away Monday, Aug. 22.

His survivors include his wife, Phyllis C. Runyan of Shelby; son, David Weaver (Pam) of Alabaster; and daughters, Connie Crane (Donald) of Hueytown and Krystal Gilmore (Josh) of Chelsea.

The visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 25 with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m., both at Charter Funeral Home, Calera.
