Dorothy Evans, age 85, of Columbiana, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28.

The visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Bolton Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Phares officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Era Cemetery.

Ms. Evans is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Howard Moore and Irene Whitfield Moore; sons, Richard Lee Evans and Philip Ray Evans; daughter-in-law, Donna Hutchison; great-granddaughter, Kali Hope.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty Arledge (Joe), Faye Vincent (Glynn) and Joyce Horton; brother, Howard Moore (Ongelene); grandchildren, Melody, Philana and Nikki; nine great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Era Cemetery Association, 339 Arabian Rd, Columbiana, AL 35051.
