Helena Hamfest returns Oct. 8

HELENA–Amateur radio enthusiasts from Helena and other nearby areas will have the opportunity to gather at the 6th annual Helena Hamfest, where a variety of activities will be offered.

The 6th annual Helena Hamfest will be Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Helena Amphitheater where there will be vendors, tailgate sales, prizes, Volunteer Examiner testing, food, some flea market items and more.

Tables will be available for purchase for $10 each and the cost of admission is $5 per licensed ham operator. Any non-ham operator will have free admission.

Prize tickets will also be available for purchase for $10, $15, $20 or $40.

Ham World and MFJ Enterprises will be at the Helena Hamfest and attendees are encouraged to stop by and see what they have to offer.

Anyone at Hamfest can also take the FCC test but it is recommended those study the material beforehand.
