Pelham police seeks help identifying burglars caught on surveillance

PELHAM – The Pelham Police Department is seeking help from the public to identify two men who burglarized a restaurant on Cahaba Valley Road on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

The men were caught on a surveillance video inside the restaurant. Pelham police Lt. Pat Cheatwood said one of the suspects is a white male with tattoos on both arms and the other is a black male with a tattoo or mark on his right forearm.

In the video, the white male is wearing shorts and the black male is wearing military-style pants. They are believed to be driving a dark color, older model Ford Expedition.

Cheatwood said the men might be connected to other burglaries that happened in Jefferson and Walker counties. He said Pelham Police Department is working with Alabama CrimeStoppers and will be in touch with the agencies in Walker and Jefferson counties to see if they can help one another.
