Funeral service for Wayne Barber, Sr., age 64, will be Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. at the Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy. Interment will be at Vincent City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon – 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Barber passed away Friday, Oct. 14. He was a longtime employee of the City of Vincent.

He is survived by sons, Wayne (Kerry) Barber II and Adrian Barber; daughter, Crystal (Jason) Barnes; granddaughter, Kaylynn Barber; brother, Steve Barber; and sisters, Elizabeth Spiller, Brenda Lambert, and Grace Morris.
