Amos Mitchell, age 83, of Columbiana, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23 at Bolton Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Beane officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Gardens.

Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Craig Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Mitchell; son, Richard L. Mitchell (Teresa); daughter, Carol Victoria Hardin (Ron); grandchildren, Brian Hardin (Jessica), Rhonda Palazzolo (DJ), Erika King (Gerald), and Kimberley Mangina (Stephen); great grandchildren, Madisyn Booth, Joshua Hardin, Zoey Mangina, Dalton Hardin, Isaiah Palazzolo, Natalie Palazzolo, Katelynn King, Makayla King, and Kaleigh King; and numerous other family and friends.
