John C. “J.C.” Palmer, Sr., age 92, of Alabaster, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24.

Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 29 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Dwight Joiner officiating. Burial will follow in Elliottsville Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Palmer is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Palmer; son, John C. Palmer, Jr.; and daughter, Nancy Lewis.

He is survived by his son, Larry Palmer (Kathy); daughter, Janet Harless (Ronnie); 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
