Work will continue on the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 11 to repair traffic lights at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Shelby County 47 in Chelsea.

The work is estimated to last from 9 a.m. until noon, according to a press release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Shelby County deputies will direct traffic at the intersection until the work has been completed.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and are encouraged to make plans to use alternate routing for this period of time.

Drivers should be cautious and drive slowly because of the traffic congestion in the area.
