Mrs. Betty Jean Spradley, age 81, of Harpersville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15 at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Spradley will be held Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Vincent Revival Center at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Vincent Revival Center from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Rev. Jason Allums will officiate the service. Burial will be in Beula Cemetery in Sterrit.

Mrs. Spradley is survived by daughters, Susan (Hoarce) Kelly, Betty Ann (Wayne) Brasher, and Kim (Ronny) Gates; stepsons, Craig (Jo) Spradley, Dwight (Helen) Spradley, and Dwayne (Lisa) Spradley; brother, Harlod Shoemaker; sisters, Ann Massey, Frances (Doug) Acker, and Charlotte (Cecial) Edwards; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Johnny Billups and Herbert Spradley; brother, Earl Shoemaker; and grandsons, Christopher Wallace and Adam Brasher.

Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
