ALABASTER – Locals looking to do some inexpensive shopping while benefiting Thompson High School’s track and field program will have a chance to do so in late March.

The THS track team will host a $1 yard sale from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday, March 25 in the THS cafeteria. Shoppers looking to get first choice of the items for sale can get into the event from 7-8 a.m. with a $10 donation at the door.

All items at the sale will be $1, regardless of the item, and all proceeds will benefit the THS track team.

Items for sale at the event will be donated by track athletes and their families, and the team will accept donations from members of the community from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 25, in the THS cafeteria. No donations will be accepted on Saturday during the sale.

As in past years, the sale will feature a gamut of items such as books, clothes, toys, electronics, movies and more.
