PELHAM – Business owner John Turner’s online store, Rogue Garments, is offering a new selection of baseball caps that feature three letter appliqués representative of area schools and cities and decals that can be placed anywhere.
Turner added nine additional baseball caps to his online selections, such as ones with USA, BHM, TCL, RTR and AUB letter appliqués. New color combinations for the PLM, HVR and VST hats have also been added.
“Pelham has been the best seller by far,” Turner said. “Hoover is the next best seller.”
The hats cost $29 each and the decals are $5 each. Turner, a Pelham resident, said he wanted to create a product that allows residents to show support for their hometowns.
Turner has plans to add fleece ear warmers and beanies in the fall, in time for those chilly football-season nights.
“I’m also planning to add a camouflage line and some long sleeve comfort t-shirts,” Turner said. “We’re just getting warmed up, really. This is just the start.”
Turner’s collection of baseball caps can also be purchased at Annabelle’s Southern Boutique in the Lee Branch Shopping Center on U.S. 280.
He began working to make his idea a reality at the beginning November 2016 and the business opened in mid-December 2016.
Turner is a member of the Greater Shelby County and Hoover Area chambers of commerce, and starting he has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
