Helena First Baptist hosting skills seminar

HELENA–A two-day seminar that begins with the rationale of both biblical and practical for developing solid, strong study skills for students will take place at First Baptist Church of Helena.
The two-day seminar is open to students in grades 6-12 where they will use assessments to discover their learning style and will leave with specific applications and strategies based on that style.
The cost of the seminar is $60 for one child and $50 for each sibling who also attends. Snacks or dinner will be included.
Topics covered will include time management/planning, organization, note taking, handling distractions, anxiety, scanning and skimming, test taking, outlining and more. In-class exercises will also be included.
The seminar will be Aug. 1-2 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Helena located at 815 Shelby County 52 East.
