Amanda Jean Barronton, age 70, of Vincent, passed away Monday, Aug. 14.

A memorial service will be held to honor Jean at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 19 at Macedonia North Baptist Church in Vincent.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Irene Barronton; sisters, Julia Faye Miller and Janice Gail Barronton; and brother, Jerry Barronton.

Jean is survived by her nieces, Robin Brower (Frank Brower), Lori Allen (late John Allen), Donna Orr (Mike Orr), and Kelly Brewer (Tommy Brewer); nephews, David Miller (Susan Miller) and Tim Miller (Kim Miller); great nieces and nephews, Joe Miller, Schyler Elliott, Mandy Miller, TJ Miller, Sam Allen, Michael Allen, Daniel Allen, Nathen Allen, Rebecca Allen, Carson Orr, and Ryan Sisbarro (late); as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Jean spent many years helping shape the lives of the youth at her church. She was a friend, a mentor, a teacher, and a comforting presence in so many lives. She is and will continue to be greatly missed.
