New Pelham daycare to offer day, night childcare

PELHAM – Chandalar Innovative Learning Academy is set to open its doors on Friday, Nov. 10, offering area residents a day and nighttime childcare option.

Daycare president Cherylia Garrett said the daycare is designed to accommodate parents with floating schedules. The new daycare will be open from 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday offering part-time and full-time care for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.

The daycare, which is fully licensed by the state, is qualified to participate in the state’s subsidized childcare program. Garrett said the center will have a nurse on staff until midnight every day and the staff is trained to administer first aid and CPR.

“We also offer 24-hour video monitoring and we provide daily reports of the care each child received,” Garrett said.

With the mission of “preparing your child for the future,” the daycare also utilizes the Funshine Learning Curriculum.

The daycare, located at 1968 Chandalar Office Park Circle, is now accepting applications. For more information, contact the daycare at 624-2273.
