JnS Treasured Creations coming to First Friday

By LAURA BROOKHART / Community Columnist

The new location of JnS Treasured Creations is an open and welcoming space, a menagerie of wood-based creations in a rainbow of colors.

Now, you can linger and look and see firsthand their larger products such as benches (with storage beneath), farm tables, end tables, a corner entertainment center, headboards and, yes, even dog beds.

“Simplicity is what I like,” Jen Newman says. This inviting theme and style is evident throughout the business, which Jen and her husband Scot opened in 2016.

Scot built the main counter in their new location and added new flooring.

The Newmans have been getting ready for Helena’s First Friday on Dec. 1 by brainstorming gift ideas to share with customers.

“We will take special orders for our furniture designs or customize any of our other items just for you,” Jen says.

See their newly created light fixtures, choose a custom frame to mount a family photo or celebrate your football team of choice with a plaque, even if your household is “divided.”

Dog beds in different sizes are available in any finish you desire.

Photo transfers can be mounted onto any size of wooden plaque with your choice of color. These are coated with a sealer. Those interested can text or email their photos to the Newmans.

Christmas-themed decorations come in variety of wooden designs. One strong and simple 2-D composition features angled wooden blocks shaping the traditional tree silhouette.

See JnS Treasured Creations on Facebook for more photos and innovative ideas, such as their Christmas Tree Box.

JnS Treasured Creations will host an upcoming auction of one of their custom designs to raise money for the Miracle League.
