PELHAM – The Arc of Shelby County is hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 13 to help raise money for its Early Intervention Program.
Those who purchase a ticket for the event will be treated to pancakes and bacon.
The pancake breakfast will be held at Applebee’s in Pelham from 8-10 a.m. Tickets are $5 per person. The event is co-hosted by the Arc and the Hoover Civitan Club.
The Arc of Shelby County’s Early Intervention Program serves more than 400 children throughout the county each year. The Arc of Shelby County is a member of the Alabama Early Intervention System, a program with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services.
The Arc of Shelby County has speech therapists or pathologists, physical therapists, special instructors, nutritionists, service coordinators and occupational therapists are on hand to support the parents and children in the establishment of good habits.
