Helena Telephone and Electric Company. Before World War I, C.T. Davidson had made Helena the envy of Shelby County by building an electric and telephone system for the town. The building in this photo housed turbines that generated the power needed for those modern marvels. Not long after this photo was made, Davidson would build a skating rink and swimming pool adjacent to this building.
