Myra Ann Thomas Beane, age 83, of Columbiana, passed away Monday, April 23 at 8:13 a.m., surrounded by her friends and family.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 26 at the New Life Pentecostal Church in Columbiana. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 27 at the church with Pastor Josh Beane officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Beane resided at the original church site, founded by her husband: Rev. John Beane, in November of 1969. Their legacy lives on through their extensive family and the New Life Pentecostal Church, built by and pastored by their son, Gary Beane, and currently pastored by their grandson, Josh Beane.

Mrs. Beane is preceded in death by her husband, John Beane; parents, Robert and Maggie Forister Thomas; and brothers, Bobby Thomas and Raymond Thomas.

She is survived by her five children, Gary Beane (Jan), Sherry Ehley (Richard), Marsha Etress (Terry), Cindy Glass (Toby), and Stephen Beane (Ishmael); 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and siblings, Jane Whitfield, Elaine Clevenger, Charles Thomas, and Sandra Dabbs.

She was loved dearly by her family, church, and community. She will be deeply missed by all.
