The second annual Shelby County Wildcats football camp will be held on Saturday, June 9, at the Columbiana Sports Complex from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

It marks the second year the youth league will hold the camp after they won the Division One Championship in 2017 with a strong win against the Calera youth football team.

Registration for the event will start at 8 a.m. that morning with the camp kicking off at 9 a.m. and lasting until early that afternoon at 1 p.m.

The camp is open to everyone interested between the ages of 6-18 and no equipment will be required for campers as it will be issued at the time of registration.

The camp will feature last year’s ACSC State Champions, the Evangel Lightning as well as Shelby County coaches and players.

A fee of $15 will be charged for the camp, but you can also register for the spring football season during the camp as well. The fee for that is $165 for the first child and $145 for each additional child.

If you are planning to register for the youth football league, you will need to have a copy of your child’s birth certificate and it’s open to ages 6-11.
