Free health fair coming to Alabaster

ALABASTER – Those looking for a free way to ensure they are healthy will have a chance to do so at Alabaster City Hall in early August, as the city is teaming up with Brookwood Baptist Health and the Angel Warriors Foundation to hold a cost-free health fair.

The health fair will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at City Hall, which is at 1953 Municipal Way.

In addition to free health screenings, the fair also will feature doctors from all disciplines, including:

 

-OB/GYN

-Cardiology

-Physical therapy

-Vision

-Bariatrics

-Internal medicine

-General surgery

-Pediatrics

-Dental

 

The event also will feature seminars covering mental health topics and a special-needs expo providing information about local resources.

Parents will be able to peruse the health fair and attend seminars peacefully, as the event will also feature a kids’ area with bounce houses, crafts and a magician.
