Authorities investigating officer-involved shooting
ALABASTER – An officer-involved shooting is currently being investigated by the Shelby County Major Crimes Task Force, according to a representative from the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office. The shooting took place in Alabaster during the afternoon of Wednesday, June 20.
Hoover Police Department Lt. Keith Czeskleba stated that HPD officers pulled over a vehicle believed to be involved with the shooting on Morgan Road, close to South Shades Crest Road, and detained four possible suspects.
Czeskleba said they held them for the Alabaster Police Department to identify them.
The Shelby County DA’s Office stated that the shooting is currently under investigation, and declined to release any more information.
