Dianne Dawson Horton, age 74, of Montevallo passed away Saturday, June 23.

Dianne was survived by grandson, James Nelvin Crim Jr. (Crystal); brothers, Bobby Dawson (Janice) and Stanley Dawson (Jo); sisters, Mary Lawson (Bill), Liz Hodges (Brad) and Deborah Pilgreen (Jesse); brother-in-law, Tommy Fant and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn Mildred Dawson and Robert Lee Dawson Sr.; son, James Nelvin Crim Sr. and his wife Tamatha; sister, Peggy Fant; brother, Van Dawson and his wife Bonnie.

Dianne worked at ABC Rail & Wal-Mart in Calera.

In lieu of flowers, family would like donations made to St. Judes Hospital in Dianne’s name.

There will be a service Thursday, June 28, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for visitation with a service to follow at 1 p.m. Minister Jerome Walton will be officiating. Burial will be at Shelby Memory in Calera.
