BJ Reed to perform at Black Box Theater

On Aug. 18, Shelby County Arts Council’s Black Box Theater presents BJ Reed’s Lady Sings the Blues.

Seasoned Alabama vocalist BJ Reed returns to our stage with an unforgettable performance in the style of blues legends Dinah Washington and Billie Holiday.

Reed’s vocal style and stage presence will transport you to an old timey jazz club.

Reed is an accomplished vocalist having won the West Alabama Female Vocalist of the Year award multiple times and having spent time working at the Alabama Blues Project.

Join us for a relaxing evening of some of your favorite jazz standards on Saturday, Aug. 18 at the Shelby County Arts Council in Columbiana.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
