HELENA–The countdown clock for the start of a new college football season has nearly hit zero, and to celebrate the much-anticipated return, one popular sports bar in Helena will host a college football countdown party to celebrate.

On Saturday, Aug. 25, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in Helena will host the party that will feature a low country boil and regular menu items, drinks, live music and of course college football.

The kickoff party will begin at 2 p.m. with live music from Ben Moseley and the Contraband from 2-5 p.m. followed by Outshine from 6-10 p.m.

Although Jacksonville State will be the only team in the state of Alabama to kick off the season on Saturday, Aug. 25, there will be a couple of other games broadcast on the several TVs located throughout the restaurant.

The two highlight games on Aug. 25 will be Hawaii at Colorado State at 6:30 p.m. followed by Wyoming at New Mexico State at 9 p.m. The games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and ESPN2, respectively.

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has a wide range of menu items including sharable appetizers, award-winning wings, seafood dishes, tacos, angus burgers, burritos and wraps, sandwiches, desserts as well as a full bar. Food and drink specials will be available during the event.
