FROM STAFF REPORTS

Do you have a budding performer in your family? Here’s a great opportunity for your child to participate in acting classes. Your award-winning community theatre, South City Theatre, has three exciting opportunities for theatrical training and performing for youth this fall:

Home school class

September 10 – November 19 (no class October 8)

Mondays, 1–3 p.m.

Students will learn acting technique as well as theatre vocabulary and procedures throughout this class. They will build skills through improvisational theatre and gain confidence by receiving materials and preparing for an audition. They will then be cast in and rehearse a fully staged production to be presented at the end of the semester. Everyone gets a role and has a hand in designing all the elements for the show.

Younger Kids Workshop
