ALABASTER – The Alabaster Police Department is seeking the public’s help to gather information about local thefts in the city, and is seeking video footage of a white Ford F-150 believe to be involved in the crimes.
On Sept. 1, the APD released photos of a white, late 1990s model Ford F-150 single cab and asked for the public to send the department any information they have on the vehicle.
“It has a Mississippi tag and some pretty unique characteristics,” APD wrote on its Facebook page. “If you have seen this truck in your neighborhood or have any video footage of this truck in your neighborhood between Aug. 13 and Aug. 31, 2018, please contact Detective Paul Johnson at pjohnson@alabasterpolice.org.
“We are looking for information on this vehicle in connection with possible thefts around our area during the timeframe listed above,” the department wrote. “We are not looking for the vehicle’s current location.”
The vehicle has a broken-out rear window, and blue plastic wrap has been used to repair it. The truck also shows damage to the front passenger-side fender and the area directly behind the driver-side door.
