HELENA – Women looking to be inspired with praise and worship, prayer and much more will have an opportunity to register for a free women’s conference in Helena the third weekend in October.

New Vision Christian Church in Helena will host the free women’s conference beginning Saturday, Oct. 20, and lasting until Sunday, Oct. 21, with the conference theme being “Character.”

The conference will use a pineapple as the motif for the weekend encouraging women to “stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the Inside.”

The event will feature host Kendralyn Houser, who will serve as the Sunday morning speaker, Valerie Stirtmire from Rebirth Christian Fellowship, Co-pastor Tracy Russell from Revelation Knowledge Bible Church and Lady Shay Taylor from Rebirth Christian Fellowship.

The free conference will begin with registration at 9 a.m. the morning of Oct. 20, and then last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with lunch included. On Sunday, Oct. 21, morning worship will begin at 10:15 a.m. Attendees are only encouraged to bring a canned good with them.

All women and girls are invited to attend the life-impacting event that will feature door prizes, goodie bags and vendors, in addition to the praise and worship.

New Vision Christian Church is located at 2383 Shelby County 95 in Helena.
