PELHAM – There’s still time to catch the Alabama State Fair while it’s in Pelham until Oct. 7 in the parking lot of the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre.

Fair hours are 4-11 p.m. on Fridays, 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Over 10 days, guests will enjoy 35 rides, 30 events and 20 concessions. Some of the fair’s most popular attractions include the Banana Derby, carnival rides and a petting zoo. Other attractions include high-flying trapeze acts, bird shows, the Puppetone Rockers, plenty of kiddie rides and kid-friendly magic shows.

Live music performers include Jimmie Allen, Konzentido, Neto Bernal, Brandon Solano and Domenic Marte. There will also be a meet and greet with Sky Katz, one of the stars from Disney’s Raven’s Home television show, on Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission is $10 for 13-59 year olds, and $5 for 5-12 year olds, military with identification and seniors 60 years and older. Ride passes cost $25.

The fair will include two discount days. Tuesday, Oct. 2, is dubbed $10 Tuesday where guests can enjoy an unlimited number of rides for $10. On $2 Thursday, set for Oct. 4, rides and various food concessions are $2 each.
