ALABASTER – A local church will give families a chance to enjoy the fall weather while having some fun in late October, as it recently scheduled its fall fest.

The Alabaster Church of God will hold its Fall Fest on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 6-8 p.m. at the church at 530 First Avenue West.

The family friendly event will feature free popcorn, Sno Cones, hot dogs, chips and drinks for all attendees.

The Fall Fest will also include inflatable games, a trackless train, a hayride, a cupcake, games, face painting and much more, said church Pastor Ken Stroup.

For the majority of the event, the University of Alabama’s Big Al mascot will also make a guest appearance, Stroup said.
