MT LAUREL – The fourth annual Mt Laurel Christmas Open House and Holiday Market will get underway Dec. 1.

The event has grown in popularity since it originated in 2015, and will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the town of Mt Laurel.

“It is just a great way for a family to come out and spend the day,” said event organizer Kelly Burley. “It is a great little market, and everyone that comes out ends up having a wonderful time.”

While the event will be similar to previous years, Burley said there will be a variety of vendors including arts and crafts, food, Christmas caroling, and many of the shops in the town of Mt Laurel will also be open and selling items during the market.

Burley said she started the market to draw more individuals to Mt Laurel, and previous years have generated a crowd of a few thousand.

There will be woodworking, coffee, fudge, paintings, cinnamon rolls, snacks, food and lunch.

Burley said individuals can bring their pets, but they must be on a leash.

The event is free and open to all ages.

There is still time for individuals interested in being a vendor at the event, Burley said.

For more information about being a vendor, contact Burley by calling (205) 408-2717.
