ALABASTER – A couple of Alabaster City Schools teachers will move on to a statewide competition after they were selected as the school system’s elementary and secondary Teachers of the Year during a recent meeting.

School Board members and Alabaster School Superintendent Dr. Wayne Vickers presented awards to the Teachers of the Year from each of the city’s six schools during the meeting. Earlier this semester, each of the top teachers were selected by their peers and administrators to receive the recognition.
