Joel Knox Hamilton, age 63, of Chelsea, passed away Monday, Jan. 21.

The visitation will be Friday, Jan. 25 from 1-2 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Greg Champion officiating. Burial will be Monday, Jan. 28 at 12 p.m. at Franklin Memory Gardens in Russellville. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Joel was born Nov. 16, 1955 in Russellville. He was owner of Hamilton’s Portable Welding.

Joel is preceded in death by his father, Knox Hamilton; stepfather, Byron Brock; and son, Steven Hamilton.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Hamilton; grandson, Seth Hamilton; brother, David Hamilton (Karen); and mother, Betty Brock.
