SUGAR LAND, Texas — SouthWest Water Company has been recognized for distinction in employee engagement with the 2019 Quantum Workplace Employee Voice Award.

Each year, Quantum Workplace, an employee software company serving more than 8,700 organizations, recognizes twenty organizations for excelling in collecting, analyzing and taking action on employee feedback.

Of the 2019 awards, SWWC achieved both the Highest Level of Engagement award and the Raising Engagement award, which honors organizations for having the largest improvement in employee engagement over the past year.

“SouthWest Water Company is proud to be recognized for outstanding employee engagement with the Employee Voice Award,” said Rob MacLean, president and CEO of SWWC. “We value our employees and are committed to creating an environment that fosters connection and success.”

Quantum Workplace, known for its Best Places to Work contest, established the Employee Voice Award in 2008 to award customers who listen to employee feedback and apply that feedback within their organizations. The award is based on employee engagement survey participation and the results of applying employee feedback over the past year.

“SouthWest Water Company is honored to receive this special award, which recognizes the value our employees’ place on our team’s culture and empowerment to meet our goals of excellent customer service,” said Craig Sorensen, Managing Director of SouthWest Water Company’s Alabama operations.

“Culture is more than a buzzword – these companies prove it,” Greg Harris, President and CEO of Quantum Workplace, said. “When leadership values open and honest employee feedback, recognizes strong performance, and clearly puts efforts into improving the employee experience, employees are allowed to thrive and be the best versions of themselves. These organizations have displayed a commitment to creating cultures that lead to great success, and it’s our honor to partner with them and recognize their achievements.”
